Wimbledon/Tennis nails

We have Wimbledon fever in the UK right now so I have decided to do some tennis-y nails. The players have braved the wind and rain England has thrown at them and this weekend we have the finals. My nails are a homage to the tennis club and the players in the Men's and Women's singles final today and tomorrow.

On my left hand I painted the 'The Championships' Wimbledon logo on the thumb, the flags of the Men's finalists Roger Federer (Swiss) and Andy Murray (UK) on the middle finger and the green and purple stripes of the traditional Wimbledon colours on my pinky. On my other nails I painted tennis balls. If I had thought to paint these before yesterday I would have bought some flocking powder to give the balls a fuzzy look (like this mani). I'll have to do it next year!

On my right hand I painted a grass tennis court on my thumb, the flags of the Ladies' Finalists: Agnieszka Radwanska (Poland) and Serena Williams  (USA) on the middle finger (please excuse that there are too many stripes on the American flag...but there are 50 stars! I do like attention to detail) and the Wimbledon colours on the pinky. Again, with tennis balls on the other nails.

I hope you are all watching the Women's Final at the moment (and the Men's tomorrow). If not, hope you have a lovely weekend!
