Summer pastel rainbow

Hello! I am back from a little holiday but didn't get round to blogging as I had planned. But don't worry, I have a few new designs lined up so will make up for my lack of posts this week!

Before I show off my nails, I just thought I would share my excitement that my nails have been published in this months Glamour! You can see the nails I did for last months cover in the 'And you said' section! Very exciting, and I havent even seen a copy of it yet, as I cant get hold of a copy until it comes to the UK next month... I also got a nice mention on CNN.com in an article they did about Olympic nail art. It was so great to see my name on such a widely read website! So double yay this week!

Now on to my nails. I was off in sunny Spain, so of course I had to do some fun summery nails (that weren't too complicated as I didn't have my whole kit with me!). So I did a pretty simple pastel rainbow stripy nail design. I loved the way this design looked, the bright colours really made me smile! 

I painted the whole design with acrylic paints as I didn't have the right polish colours with me. It would have been better if I had white striping tape...but that might just be me being a perfectionist!!
