Blue and white mix

Hello all! Sorry I have been AWOL for a while, but I have been on holiday. I am back for good now, so no more interruptions to my regular blogging!

This is just a quick 'I'm baaack' post - some nails I did before I went away. My next post will be for my giveaway which I have been meaning to do for a while and can act as an 'I'm sorry I haven't posted for 2 weeks!!'.

Now onto my nails! This is really just a random mix over my favourite nail colour. The base is actually Nails Inc Baker Street, with a layer of OPI DS Magic which is so sparkly! But I decided to do a matte look which left a faded sparkle look that doesn't show up much in the photos. The pattern is just totally random, sort of spikey mix painted with black and white acrylic paint. My favourite nail is definitely the mouth on my left hand!

Finally I would like to add a quick note about Matte top coats, as recently I have tried a few. I have sampled Nails inc and Essie, and none of them make the nail quite as matte as the Rimmel top coat. So I would recommend Rimmel over the others any day. I will perhaps do a full post of matte top coats in the future.
