Israel evil eye nails

I have recently come back from a holiday in Israel. In all the markets we visited there were loads of evil eye and hamsa (the hand) charms that gave me the idea for my latest nail design.

I used blue and silver acrylic paint to paint the good luck symbols on each nail and added a blue crystal to the centre of the eye on each finger. On my index finger I painted the evil eye, middle finger in a star of David with the evil eye in the middle, my ring finger is a hamsa, pinky is the hebrew 'chai' meaning life, finally I painted the crest of Israel on the thumb. My other hand is all the same, except I painted the Israel flag on the thumb.

I had a great holiday so definitely had to mark it with some nails! I love the effect the blue crystal added to my nails its just a shame that they didn't last too long.

Finally don't forget to enter my giveaway!!
