Les Miserables Nails

I am a huge Les Miserables fan. I do not know how many times I have listened to the album! As soon as I saw Cameron Mackintosh was going to make a movie of it I followed the news all year as the cast was slowly announced and boy was it a great cast! I was extremely lucky to get the opportunity to go to the premiere of the film last week, and this obviously meant Les Mis nails!

Before nails I must first say the film is amazing, at times better than being at the stage show. I wont go into detail as I don't want to spoil the experience for anyone going to see it when it comes out. I highly recommend the movie, even if you have never seen the stage show or know the story, its still an amazing movie with a star studded cast. Hugh Jackman!!! yeah...

So my nails were based on the costumes from the stage show. I first made a set of false nails a while ago but I never used them and decided to do a new set straight on to my nails.

On my left hand the thumb is based on the poster with the iconic image of Cosette's face. Then the costumes are: (from index to pinky) Cosette, Enjolras, Eponine and Javert.

On my right hand the thumb is the red flag waved by the students are the barricade and the costumes are: (pinky to index) Madame Thenardier, Thenardier, Fantine and Jean Valjean (at the barricades).

In all the excitement I forgot to take pictures of my nails while I was at the premiere also it was too cold to even take my gloves off! Now all I have to do is wait 33 days until I can see the movie again!!
