Hand and nail care

In the cold winter months I find my hands and cuticles can get really dry. So I take extra precaution to keep them nice and soft using a combination of hand lotion and cuticle creams. I am going to show you some lovely products you can use to protect your nails in the winter! Some of these are new products and some are old favorites of mine.

Hands:

Over the years I have amassed a drawer full of hand creams and I am going to show you the few I like the best:

Nails Inc Kensington:

Smelly lovely and Nails Inc always know what they are doing when it comes to nail care!

Nip and Fab hand cream:

This brand was recently introduced to me. what is lovely about this kit is that it comes with some moisturising gloves which you wear overnight with the cuticle cream and hand cream for an extra moisturising boost. The cream has a rather sweet smell and is great to use every so often to keep dry hands soft.

They also have some other bath and moisturising items in their range as well as other skincare products, which all smell lovely and work well. You can find out more information about them on their website: Nip+Fab

Origins:

Another hand cream I like is Origins 'Make a Difference' cream. The smell is a fresh cucumber/mint mix and the formula is nice on the hands.

Cuticle care:

Colour Club:

I use this cuticle cream from time to time when I give myself a manicure. I brush it on the cuticles leave it to soften then up, then go and scrub my nails with a scrubbing brush and warm water.

OPI:

I use this OPI Avoplex oil daily on my nails. I keep the bottle at home and take the tube with me to use on the go! The formula is great, it smells lovely and keeps my cuticles fresh.

After using my favourite products my cuticles are neat, my hands are soft and I am ready to start a new nail design!
