New Year 2016

Happy New year all!

I am still on holiday, and these are the second set of pre-painted nails I brought with me so I could maximise my relaxation time! These nails are more natural looking than the previous set as they are the same shape/length as my nails. So to the untrained eye they look (and feel) like I not wearing press on nails at all.

I painted the glitter at home and added the new year themed details the other day. This meant all I really had to bring with was paint, paintbrushes and glue/nail guards to sick the nails on with.

I went with a new year/firework theme for the nails. It is difficult to get good images without my light box, but I hope you can see the details on each nail.

What do you think of these nails? Do you like the idea of false nails? It is nice knowing I won’t have to spend 10 minutes trying to scrub glitter polish off my nails!

This is an example of my setup. I brought the nails just painted with glitter and added the details with acrylic paint. You can also see my previous nails after I took them off. They came off as full nails as I used the nail guards between the false nail and my natural nail.

Finally Happy New Year to you all! I hope you have a great 2016 – here are the fireworks I watched at midnight behind the palm trees!
